Individuals join a trained therapist for one-on-one consultations in a safe and trusting environment. The therapist at Arubah are trained and qualified to work with individuals struggling with most mental health symptoms. Weekly psychotherapy sessions generally last 50 to 80 minutes, depending on the individuals needs.

Family and Relationship Counseling
For couples who have run into emotional trouble or just want to make sure their relationship gets off to a healthy start, relationship counseling is highly valuable.
For families struggling with adjustments to new transition or just wanting to change old habits, family counseling is very beneficial.
Therapist-led group therapy is useful both as a supplement and an alternative to individual therapy. It provides real-life feedback and interaction among the clients.

Life Support Group: When attempting to transition you lifestyle and begin the process of making yourself "anew," you will encounter challenges of learning new ways to connect, to see yourself and to trust others. This may prove to be difficult because these changes will effect you and everything around you. Aspects of your life may seem out of place, they may no longer fit the same way. "Life Support" therapy group is a safe place to begin your process. It is a way to build trust and learn how to love yourself in a way that allows you to connect with others.
Stabilization Group: Stabilization is the building block to the creation of a healthy and happy lifestyle. The group helps
participants to gain a variety of coping skills, enhance strengths that have increased your resiliency and address general areas of life that may present concerns. The structure
of the group allows for an experiential relaxation practice, a psycho-educational component that increase awareness and knowledge in a varity of life areas, and a palpable exercise to allow for
a complete sensory driven integrative process. Areas covered include: Feelings/Emotions, Stress, Affect/Behavior/Cognitions, Trauma & Abuse, Family, Relationships, Addiction
& Co-Dependency, Goal setting, Healthy Sexuality and health romantic connections.
Healing Circles: Healing Circles are a way for a community to come together to improve the well-being of all. With these groups, our facilitators focus on fostering discussion around a range of mental health topics tailored to the members of the group. Along with discussion, different bodywork techniques such as meditation, trauma-informed yoga, acupressure, and healing touch are employed to assist in the healing process.

ARMHS (Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services)
ARMHS Services are services that enable a client to develop and enhance psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal and emotional adjustment, and independent living and community skills, when these abilities are impaired by the symptoms of mental illness. It also helps to enable a recipient to retain stability and functioning if the recipient is at risk of losing significant functionality or being admitted to a more restrictive service setting without these services.
The service instructs, assists, and supports a recipient in areas such as
medication education and monitoring and basic social and living skills in mental
illness symptom management, household management, employment-related, or
transitioning to community living.
To be eligible, individuals must be age 18 or older, diagnosed with a severe
mental illness and suffer from functional impairments, and have insurance
coverage of Medical Assistance or other plan with ARMHS services coverage.

CTSS (Child Therapeutic Services and Supports)
CTSS is a mental a mental health service for children between the ages of 0-20. It provides rehabilitation of functions impaired by mental health disorders. It focuses on restoring functions lost as a result of a mental health disorder. It is a service that helps children return back to normal development through therapeutic and rehabilitative levels of interventions. Skills training focuses on helping clients learn specific skills to alleviate or minimize the symptoms of the mental health diagnosis.
Recipients must meet all of the following criteria: Be under the age of 21 years, have a diagnostic assessment stating that they have a primary diagnosis of an emotional disturbance such as Anxiety, ADHD, Emotional Behavioral Disorder,Conduct Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder etc. In addition, all recipients must meet a medical necessity and a completion of an assessment of level of care.

MNsure is the only place you can apply for financial help to lower the cost of your monthly insurance premium and out-of-pocket costs.
Also available to those who qualify are low-cost and free health insurance options provided through government-sponsored health insurance programs Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare. If you qualify for and enroll in one of these programs, your health coverage is managed through the Department of Human Services.
