Kla-Nwaeti Dennis

Kla-Nwaeti Dennis is a trauma-informed and culturally responsive clinical intern whose work is deeply influenced by her lived experiences, global perspective, and a strong belief in the healing potential of relationships. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families dealing with trauma, addiction, emotional distress, and life transitions. Kla-Nwaeti employs a strength-based relational philosophy of change and integrates various approaches, including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other effective strategies.

Currently, Kla-Nwaeti is completing her Master of Social Work degree, with specialized training in addiction treatment, trauma, and family systems. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, exploring creative outlets, staying connected to her Liberian roots, and engaging in activities that help her feel grounded and centered.

At Arubah Emotional Health Services, Kla-Nwaeti is dedicated to creating a safe, affirming, and culturally grounded therapeutic space where clients feel seen, valued, and empowered in their healing journeys. She specializes in working with individuals and families affected by trauma, stress, and systemic barriers, approaching each session with humility, curiosity, and deep respect for her clients' lived experiences. Kla-Nwaeti is drawn to Arubah's mission of restoring hope and strengthening communities, and she appreciates the agency's commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and community-rooted care. In her personal life, she enjoys fostering meaningful relationships, participating in community and cultural activities, and engaging in hobbies that support her own wellness and creativity.
