Silvia Angel

Silvia Angel is currently an intern at Arubah Emotional Health, pursuing her master's in clinical mental health counseling. Silvia's values lie in fostering meaningful and impactful connections through channeling authenticity and ensuring the integrity of clients; change is ignited through the building of these relationships and community. Outside of her passion for relationship-building, Silvia enjoys spending time with her family and dog, reading, exploring the world of vintage clothing, and playing on her intermural soccer team. Her background is in youth work, with 3 years of experience at Big Brothers Big Sisters TC youth mentorship organization. She currently holds a BA in Psychology and anticipates an MA in Counseling by April of 2027.

Silvia grew up in a small town in Iowa in a family of 8 with many types of animals. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts, she moved to Minneapolis to begin her professional life. After gaining work experience, she began a master's program in counseling. The pursuit of this degree led her to seek an internship at Arubah Emotional Health, where the values of connection, integrity, and community are amplified. Silvia enjoys spending time with her dog Mia, playing soccer in an intramural league, reading, and volunteering at a youth mentorship organization and vintage clothing shop in Minneapolis.
